“Thank you on behalf of Joint Parishes Forum (JPF) and the Warmley Skate Park Group for the outstanding facility that is being enjoyed by everyone at Warmley Forest Park!
Maverick won the design and build contract for the skate park refurbishment following a protracted funding exercise and stuck with the project despite significant delays and administrative issues. The funding restrictions of this project meant that no contingency existed. Maverick had a clear understanding of the design brief and specification from conception to completion and worked within these constraints with diligence and good humour. The JPF is a novice in the skate park world and the customer service and professional guidance and advice provided were exemplary often giving additional project management support above and beyond the brief.
The turn out to the community engagement sessions that the Maverick team supported, allowed the users of the site the opportunity to fine tune the design and talk through their aspirations for the site despite the tight budgetary constraints and very restricted site layout. The final design exceeded all expectations and we have a facility of the highest build quality and a most exciting and innovative design.
The install team were extremely professional at all times running the job like clockwork, keeping the JPF informed of the build progress at all times. The team were focused on giving the very highest quality finish and attention to detail was excellent. The Maverick team were full of enthusiasm and committed to ensuring they delivered the best possible facility for everyone to enjoy on time and on budget. Furthermore they even worked with some of our young people outside the working day to create a unique mosaic to personalise the skate park and engender a spirit of community.
