After YEARS of campaigning, Redruth in Cornwall is now home to some beautiful Maverick concrete. The Skatepark is now open and official jam details will follow soon... “After petitioning, fundraising and attending council meetings, as well as local newspaper articals, when I was growing up in Redruth. I am so happy to finally see redruth have the skatepark it’s youth deserve. A safe, fun and challenging environment to skate, make friends and to push yourself.

After nearly 10 years off my board, these amazing parks made by Maverick Skateparks have offered me an opportunity to have a little taste of my youth again. Aswell as give me the opportunity to say “back in my day, we had rough ground and sketchy handmade ramps”.

I hope the kids really appreciate what we didn’t have. I know I will when I’m out rolling on the smoothest, fun and creative parks that are around now. Thank you to maverick! You guys have made so many 30/40 year olds dreams come true.. better late than never. 🤣🤟😍”
