We were appointed to design and build a new in-situ concrete skatepark for Droitwich Spa, creating a new wheeled-sports destination beside the town’s leisure centre.

The design brings together street and transition riding in a flowing, connected layout. Banks, ledges, hips, quarter pipes and a halfpipe create varied lines, with opportunities for skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter riders and inline skaters to build confidence and progress.

The skatepark sits alongside a bespoke pump track designed by ON TRACK. Together, the facilities form part of a £600,000 investment in leisure and wellbeing by Wychavon District Council across Droitwich Spa.

The project follows years of campaigning by local residents, including Alex Pedlow and Martin Maycroft. After visiting the site, Alex said:

“This is going to be a great facility for Droitwich Spa, particularly for the town’s young people.”

Councillor Richard Morris, Leader of Wychavon District Council, described the project as:

“High-quality, unique and modern facilities that reflect what our community, particularly our young people, has asked for.”

Delivered with Dragon Play & Sports, the skatepark is now approaching completion and is expected to open alongside the pump track in October 2026. We’re looking forward to seeing it ridden.
