A day of perfect blue skies for the official opening jam. The park was busy with incredible energy from the competitors and the crowds making the most of the new space, exactly what this project was built for. Thanks to everyone who came along, took part and helped make it such a memorable day. Seeing the park come alive like this is what it's all about.

Word got out fast. Day one was busy from lunchtime till dusk, and that's exactly how it should be. Huge respect to Chalfont St Peter Parish Council, the @chalfontsactivityparkproject and everyone in Chalfont St Peter who kept the faith. It takes a village and now this one belongs to the village.
Get down there and skate it.

“Our new skatepark in Chalfont St Peter has been a great success. This was due in no small part to the support we received from Maverick Industries at every stage of the project.
The skatepark was eventually built after a five year campaign started in late 2020 by local residents keen to see investment in the wheeled sports facilities in the village. Maverick were contacted for advice on how to get started and possible funding strategies. They were immediately helpful and supplied several case studies on how to proceed and gather support.
After the local campaign gathered momentum. Representatives from the company attended several public meetings with local residents and parish council meetings to advocate for wheeled sports in general and the importance of well designed and built skateparks.
Maverick Industries won the tender to build our new skatepark in Chalfont St Peter after a competitive panel-based process. Maverick stood out from the other bidders due to their timely communications with us and detailed breakdown of costings and environmentally friendly construction methods.
Construction of the park was carried out on time and on budget. The Maverick build crew were great ambassadors for the company, fielding many questions from residents during the building process.
The skatepark has been open less than a fortnight but is already used from dawn to dusk by a growing cohort of local skaters and BMX riders. The park is also popular with younger residents on scooters and balance bikes at quieter times
I would have no hesitation in recommending Maverick industries to anyone looking to create a similar hub of fun and activity in their own community.”
““From the very beginning, Maverick have been fantastic to work with. The skatepark looks great and is a fabulous addition to our village, and it has been packed since the moment it opened. Within 15 minutes there was a two-year-old on a balance bike using it, and from mid-afternoon until darkness fell it was basically packed out. Today has been no less busy.

We’re excited to be starting construction on the new skatepark at Mill Meadow in Chalfont St Peter this week, working in partnership with Chalfont St Peter Parish Council.
This much-anticipated project will transform the space into a modern, high-quality skatepark designed for riders of all abilities. We’re looking forward to delivering another standout facility and can’t wait to see it come to life.
